If anyone havent noticed, google earth is now available on the market.
NICE. Thanks for the heads up!
On mine it seems to stop the Download section of the Market from loading. Uninstalled and reinstalled twice to confirm.
It takes a while for some reason. I think it must be something to do with google maps integration. I noticed it picks up layers and stuff from that app.
It took a while to install too. It seemed to stop (the spiral bars weren't going), then it jumps up with a notification saying installed!
Try again and just wait a little longer.
I get a network error, retry or cancel when updating my Downloads list
Uninstalling. Google Earth definitely fixes it. By the way, I think the app is 22mb rather than the advertised 5 (from memory so sorry if I'm out).
it's a very big file. the only application i have that takes more room than this is my roadmail sync (39mbs). it is around 22 mb. my nexus one is already near its max. google needs to release the update that allows us to store programs on the micro sdhc.
I'm sure that can't be far away. They'll roll it up with the Flash 10.1 update.
itys been available for a couple of days now. its fun but takes up way to much space. perfect example of why apps to sd is needed
I've got apps2sd sort of working myself, but through some magic trick it doesn't seem to take with Earth, alas. It does take up less than 22 MB on my phone, so some... things from it must be on my SD card, but still.
hopefully this will become available at some point... its the one feature i desire the most
I had no problems in installing Earth just now. I am worried about how much space it takes up though..
Here is a link if anyone wants to read a bit about it.
