    Advertising. That's the answer. That new Google Home commercial is going to move a lot of product. I wish they'd had a campaign like this when Android phones were released.

    There's been a lot of TV /Press/Poster advertising from Google in the UK over the last few years.... are you not getting any of that over there?

    I'm talking like 2008, the initial release. There was very little presence except word of mouth among PDA geeks. Windows Phone and Palm ruled back then but Apple owned advertising.

    Here in the UK we had a nationwide poster campaign for the Chrome browser a number of years ago, so they've been happy to use traditional media here for a while.
