Hi. I am new here and just got the Acer Liquid E yesterday. I did the update to Google Maps so that when I go into navigation mode, it talks like a real GPS.

The problem is that the sound is so low that even with the car radio volume off, I still can't hear it. The navigation volume is set to the maximum, so I can't figure out why it is not as loud as my ringtones, music, speakerphone calls, etc.

    Any information would help.
    Thank you in advance.

I doubt there are any but see if there are any options you can change in the TTS settings. The "Google GPS voice" is actually whatever TTS engine you have on your device. It's not specific to just Google Maps Nav. Any app that can use the TTS engine will have the same voice.

I know SVOX's TTS engine has its own volume setting within the TTS settings. I don't think the Pico TTS engine that was stock on my Droid has such an option though.
