Installed Google Listen to manage my podcast. It appears that some podcasts get stuck in a download loop and NEVER stop unless you kill the app.

    Destroys battery life.

If you had this happen with Google Listen and found a solution please post.

Have been using it for a few days now, have not seen this problem. Is it a particular Podcast? Are you on wifi? 3G? plugged in? Details? Queued?

I've never had this issue, but review your download settings in the app and see if anything may help. For example, you can set it to only download podcasts if the phone is plugged in or is on a WiFi network.

Definitely some issues with Google Listen, but overall I'm satisfied. I use their search terms then subscribe at that level instead of trying to enter my own feeds...

I've found the search results to be very lacking. I've had to add some by url manually. The UI is miles ahead of .Podkast., IMO, so I use Listen for my day to day stuff, but use .Podkast. for videos and other browsing since their database is huge.

Haven't tried Doggcatcher yet, hopefully that would replace both of them.
