So I just discovered the 3d part of Google maps by accident. I was wondering how to I actually view the buildings in 3d. Currently I'm viewing by satellite. I'm on gingerbread btw

It only works in map mode.

The 3D features are only available in map mode. It will not be available in satellite mode. To view the buildings at a different angle, you need to touch the screen with two fingers and drag your fingers down the screen. You also need to zoom in quite a bit. If you are not zoomed in enough, you will not see the building layouts. Also, only city centres of major cities have the 3D building information. If you try to look at outskirts of cities, you will not see the 3D buildings.
