When I use the OsmAnd app, if I turn on GPS, the app will soon be able to locate my location. When I switch to the Google Maps app, I tap on either the [Starting Point] or [Destination] blank/field and then tap [My current location]. Then it goes back to the map and there's a swirling circle. That circle will swirl for a long time. I don't get it. What's wrong. My tablet's GPS is working fine. We know this because it works in OsmAnd. So why is Google Maps wonky? Google Maps seems to locate me if, instead of tapping [Current location], I tap [Choose on map] and then tap [OK] to confirm the red thumbtack location. Some other bits of info. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. Rooted. Android 5.1. I use the maps in offline mode.
