This has been posted under the sprint htc hero forum, however i know there are much more people posting here that can help with this problem.

Maps works fine, but when I open the app a pop up shows "unable to load the url", its pretty annoying. How can I get rid of this....clearing the cache and defaults did nothing.

I'll bet Google maps is being launched shortcut created by "any cut" app. Try launc maps directly from the app tray. Or copy a Google maps shortcut from there to launch maps. Let me know if this works for you.

i went through google account- went to my maps and a map of america fills the screen but no list of the maps i have produced. i pressed the square key on the bottom left which brings up an option to use classic instead of mobile. the click classic and choose browser. 'my maps' link on the left as if you were on the website and i found that all 'my maps' were visible on the left just like on the pc.

just try and use a classic setting of google maps- think it works
