Google Maps Update to 4.7

Just wandered into the market and found an update for Google Maps, to 4.7. Hadn't heard anything about an update, and there's nothing that says what's new. Anyone know?

I wonder why my phone didnt tell me there was an update for it.. There was also one for voice search and it neglected that one also. seems anything that came stock on the phone dosent let you know when it has an update. Strange.

Google maps does not show up in the market for me. Not sure why.

I have tried searching. I went to google's mobile apps page and clicked the link for Maps, and it redirected me to the Market app and says that it cannot be found.

You can also update street view and when go into maps and pick a location, you can move the peg guy anywhere on the screen, pretty cool imo

What you have to do is install the app over the one that comes with your phone. Then it shows the updates. This is the same for my EVO, nothing that came on it shows updates until I install an actual app from the market.
