After installing the ota froyo update, I am having problems running Google nav and pandor. Whenever the nav gives directions, Pandora pauses. Before the update, it would mute then unmute Pandora when it was giving directions.

This is a pita b/c I have to keep unpausing Pandora after each direction. Anyone have a solution?

I'm having the same issue while using Pandora and Real Time Traffic. Also, Pandora paused when a call came in and I had to hit "Play" to get the music back after the call. Maybe the solution is to report it to the Pandora developers......

Now that you mention it, I also had Pandora pause after a phone call.

I had though that nav was forcing other apps to pause instead of mute. Hopefully there will be a slew of updates with froyo support for apps.

I'm having the same problem with Google Nav and Pandora. It seems like after the update Nav doesn't get along with other apps that use audio. The FM Radio app also pauses and freezes when nav gives audio directions.

This is an old issue, you didnt have to resurrect a month old thread just to add nothing to it.

Well, on the bright side, he's a new guy and has done a search to find the thread to post the issue affecting him - so really, not too shabby (bravo in fact), as most new guys just open new threads all over the place.

MACC2b, welcome to the forum!

I'm not sure there's a fix for this issue or not, but if one comes up (or came up), you'll find it here.

Meanwhile, kindly confirm if you're running 2.1 or 2.2 - you have 2.2 if you have an app called Flashlight in your drawer.

Thanks for the welcome!

Not to further enrage sitlet by keeping this thread going :) but what I was trying to add was that for me it seems to be a problem with Nav voice directions and other apps that use audio (not just Pandora). Anyway, it's a new problem for me since recently upgrading to 2.2. I didn't have this problem with 2.1. Hopefully there will be a fix for this at some point.
