Help Google Play Music APK

Why would the Google Play Music apk(com.google.android.music)be in my file manager, after my 5.1.1 update & after doing an FDR? I always disable the app & do not have an account.
Should I delete it?

Google Play Music can play your library of music: you don't need to subscribe to the service (although I do and love it). It will survive a Full Data Reset because I believe it's a SYSTEM app, not a USER app... data resets do not touch the System partition.
