I updated my android software earlier this week, and now I keep getting notifications to "Update Google Play services-Google play services won't run unless you update Google Play services". I click on the notification, go to the play store, and there's no button to update to the latest version. I have the version 9.0.83 currently. I have tried clearing cached data and rebooting but that doesn't help. Samsung Galaxy s6 not rooted

    Thanks!

9.0.83 is the current version. Have you tried rebooting your phone?
Do you mean you just ran normal updates? or you updated the system to a new version of Android?

It was the android system update, and yes, I rebooted my phone after I cleared the cached data. It's happened before with the last software upgrade about 2 months ago.

With a system update, I always find it prudent to back up and then factory reset.
