Google Play Store app not pre-installed

    I just reset my phone and all the Google stuff is gone? Any way to get it back?

    update: Samsung live chat didnt help at all. Will try to call them later.

    You need gapps. I think any one from the column next to 2.2 will work.

    This Wiki is for CyanogenMod but the packages should still work.

    Not sure if you need to be rooted or not.

    In talking with samsung the immediately asked if I root the phone. Of course I played dumb but that gave me an idea. I when in to the boot option ( power + r ) and saw a clockwork reset factor defaults. In trying that it did so correctly. I forgot I even had that installed. So that did the trick, all back to normal now.

    Like Mayhem said, you just need to flash GAPPS in CWM recovery. Just ensure you have a backup in case any problems. :)
