I'm having a problem and want to see if anyone is experiencing what I'm seeing. Whenever I do a voice search like starbucks, the search shows my location and nearby starbucks in pittsburgh. That's a pretty cool feature except I live 130 miles away in State College, PA. I've checked all my options and look good. Here is everything I've checked so far:
- Homepage Menu > Settings > Location > - GPS (ON) - Wireless Network (ON)
- Homepage Menu > Settings > Privacy> Use my Location (ON)
- Google Mobile Site > Preferences > Allow use of device location (YES)
It keeps sending me to businesses in Pittsburgh. I have the option to click the location it's showing and then click "Update Location" and then it will get it right as it will send me to the local tab search. But what gives? Why does it keep defaulting me 130 miles away?
