I am running KitKat 4.4.4. I had once searched through the Google app when the data connection was poor and after a couple weeks I got a notification showing "Search Results are Ready". The options are to either click on the results or click on "Cancel All".

The issue is that clicking on either of them does nothing. I can only make it go away by clearing the notification. However, it comes back after a few seconds. Restarting the phone has no effect. What can I do it make it go away?
