Cool, although I would have liked to see him do an actual search with it. Hopefully, mine will be here tomorrow so I can find out for myself. I don't think I'll be getting a lot of sleep tomorrow night!

What about voice search and using the search key? What about voice commands like "directions to"? The widget itself is not a big deal to me.

Lmao. Not that I have a problem with Bing, but this just makes me want the Fascinate even more. I was planning to get Launcher Pro anyways as soon as I got the phone anyways, so this is just another advantage to doing so.

Well, this gave us false hope. Android Central posted a video proving that even if you change the launcher, when you try to search through the Google search widget, your search results are still routed through Bing. So the alternate launcher is a no-go. Guess it just looked too easy...

Bing is integrated. The only way to purge this portal pimping app is rooting. You can go around it to some degree, but never away from it or rid of it.

So it does not really get rid of Bing Search. It just sends a message to Micro$oft who probably does not care a bit.

By the way, the first video is no longer on youtube. I wonder why?

What's we wrong with that? Samsung has left a billion peop... er ONE MILLION people hanging with crippled phones. And now VZ may be adding to the total. I Hope Not!
