Google Services always running?

My wife has the Atrix 4G and she keeps going over on her 2Gb data plan. One of the apps i found running allthe time was Google Services. I kill it, then every time she opens her text messaging, it starts again.

is this related to the voice recognition feature? How do I turn this off? I've gotten her to stop her music streaming, but anything running when it shouldn't would be nice to stop.

easiest way to stay low on data is to turn off background data in settings. There's no way you can hit overage fees with that off. If you do, then "somebody" is using more data than they are admitting to you (streaming, downloading etc)

You can try downloading this app "My Data Manager". It monitors your data usage and you can set it to switch off data when it reaches the desired data limit.
