Been wondering how this works for a long time now and was hoping someone can explain it to me. I almost always have gmail open on by desktop/laptop and have the mobile version of google talk open on my incredible. I always get my chats on the desktop/laptop but what makes it push to the mobile version. I do not get every chat on the mobile version only some. I am basically trying to figure out what the rule is.

Thanks in advance to anyone who might be able to help...

To get the messages on your phone you have to sign out of the web version.

I guess the weird thing is that I get some of the chats on the mobile version when the browser version is open. Does it only send if I am inactive, or does it recognize that my browser window was hidden and made the sound for a incoming chat and then pushes to mobile. There has to be some rule for this since it comes through some of the time.
