Help Google Talk Video Crashing

How is everyone's experience with Google Talk Video and Voice? Every time I click on the video icon to "talk" to my laptop signed in with a second Google account, the app crashes. I run WhisperCore, which is a full phone encryption suite from Whisper Systems Whisper Systems

The developer supplies the OS, which is at 2.3.4 currently.

I have never experienced a problem with it. Video chat has been working great for me. Honestly it sounds like a problem with Whispercore.
