*google* Unlocked nexus... root needed?

    S, I just bought the Unlocked Galaxy Nexus HSPA+ as offered via the Google Play Store (Market) today. Couldn't resist the price.. 399..wow.

    Anyway... The phone is unlocked, which is cool.

    Stupid question.. Anyone have any idea if I will still need to "root" the device to gain priv'd access? I can't figure out if this particular unlocked-from-google version will need to be rooted or not.

    GUESSING unlocked simply means, unlocked- and I still have to root...

    Yes unlocked means it's Not locked to a specific carrier.

    Rooting methods apply to you still in the normal manner.
