Discovered this morning that a google update and broken the V40 , you cannot call or receive calls . Verizon suggests a new phone, seriously?

My LG V40 never had problems so it isn't every phone. I also just read an article that says how to fix the problem if you have it.

Just my luck too.

First time on my phone, after a covid declaration and now I've gotta look into this crap too.

The article I read said to install the latest update. But check it out. I think it gave other info too. And here is another article:
