Can google voice be used to make free domestic phone calls using your cell phone? I'm a little confused as to how they work. They claim domestic calls are free, but do they still use up your call minutes, or do they go through the data plan?
This could prove to be very handy, depending on what Google Voice will cost at the end of the 2011 year.
I have that app (tried sipdroid but imo grooveip is much better), and it works on 3G, but not very well (long delays). However it works very well on wifi, and I'm planning on using it when out of the country next month to call home (for free) when I'm in the hotel and on their wifi.
I just set it up. Totally awesome! But is there a way to bump up the audio quality? It seemed a bit lower than a standard phone call.
