I have both google voice and gmail apps on my phone. When I receive a text via GV, I get the notification...but then, I get another notification from Gmail.
I would like to disable Gmail notification as it is about 20-25sec slower than Voice. I tried setting the text I get as 'SMS' Label only and turning off notification for this label (it was set on Inbox and SMS before). But every new text I get resets back to Inbox/SMS labels.
Any ideas?
EDIT: Ugh, after some more looking around, Voice has an option that allows SMS forwarding to email to be turned off.
