hey guys anyone here use Google Voice or Youmail.. i am trying to decide what is best for the phone.

I like the fact that i can put everything together with Google. when i went to google voice its asking me if i want to PORT my number or not... i am a little leary about this.. not sure what to do about it..

whats the benefits of YM or GV.. what would you choose and why?

Google Voice is better. Don't worry about it asking you to port a number. Accept the new phone number it offers you (you don't have to use it for anything), then say yes to the question of whether to have it handle your voicemail. There's a quick procedure to enter a long string of digits and then all your voicemails come from Verizon to Google Voice. No hassle, nothing weird going on.

The transcription of messages is better on Google Voice, and free.

Google Voice is a free SMS texter, and works well.

I've tried both and while visual voicemail is not perfect with google voice it is free. Plus I am not stuck with vzw voicemail which is a pain.
