Is the little box in google voice settings that reads:

    "Forward calls to:
    Phone 1: (my cell no.)"

    supposed to be checked?

    Thank you.

The number shown there is my cell's number. I am looking for a yes or a no.

lol. Well you have to explain what exactly you're trying to accomplish. I'm going to say PROBABLY not, though I haven't yet done the whole sipdroid thing. So you're running sipdroid with something like PBXes with your GV number for free data-only phone calls-- is that right? If so, you wouldn't want it forwarded to your cellular number, which would use minutes instead of data. Based on my assumptions as to what you're doing, I'd say no.

Yet I don't understand what else do people want to know. My question is simple, I already did this and that to have sipdroid working on my phone. Now, is what I asked supposed to be checked or not. The answer is no as you also said.

Wish I could say for sure, but I really think the answer is no.

I plan to give sipdroid + GV a try soon. I'll update when/ if I do.

Why would anyone use gv+sipdroid over gv+grooveip, except to save $5?

If that is the case they could use GV+Talkatone and it is also free.

To answer the OP's question though. Yes you want to check the box to forward calls to the cell phone you plan to use sipdroid on.
