Root Goomanager/ROM Toolbox

anyone know if these 2 apps are safe to install roms with?
i bought the rom toolbox pro and its worth every penny so far, but would love to use these for flashing also

i have heard of people using rom manager but i would reccomend using clockworkmod recovery i like the step by step control of the actions find the right version for your phone it really simple read and learn every thing you can on the subject let the fun begin

^ This guy is going to get someone bricked. DON'T USE ROM MANAGER. The recovery partition for our phone is different for phones, installing a recovery and trying to flash will give you a solid brick.

I'm not sure.... I don't really want to try it in case it does the same as ROM Manager. HOWEVER, it does boot me into CWM recovery, BUT I'm not sure you can flash through the APP, I have used it to make backups, change fonts, boot ani, themes (CM7), I've used everything but flashing ROMs

DON'T USE ROM MANAGER but I've used rom toolbox for everything just about besides flashing roms.

lol im not using rom manager, and im not asking about it either. im a few days away from getting the esteem, so once i do ill give it a shot on my admire and let you know. whether it works or not, ill be most likely donating this phone to a dev.

I'm in-between the Esteem and the LG Connect 4G. Connect has dual core. Also, might get the new Optimus M+. It's a bit fancier than this phone with relatively the same specs.

me too but that screen size on the esteem is sweet, plus it has a few roms. the connect tho i notice is growing fast, and theres that dual core..tough choice

heck ya the optimus M+ is so freaking sexy and its got a cool look, thats gonna be the phone i upgrade to

Just looked a the Optimus +

Spec wise, it is almost identical to the Admire. But I didn't see the memory specs. Also it does have a 5MP camera.
