I went to sprint and got an HDMI cable .. got it at sprint for a reason.. because if anything happens.. they have no problem swapping out the accessories at the store.. after my premium customer discount I got it for $24 and change out the door..

but I found out a sad detail from the employee that checked me out.. he said the Premier Customer 25% discount is going away in a month or so :( I can't verify it past that but thats what I was told... and he wouldn't tell me why.... anyone able to corroborate this?

Is this a corporate store for sure? If not, they could just be not honoring a discount that sprint corporate does.

I buy all my cables at monoprice. Best prices anywhere. Don't fall for that premium cable bs.

+1 for Monoprice. I have been using a $38 40' HDMI cable in my home theater for two years with absolutely no problems. What do you think a box store would have charged for a 40' HDMI cable? ;0

I am glad that you like your sprint cable. I have used AMZER cables with no problems in the past. Also if you order 3 you get free shipping. ;)

They are out of stock due to the launch of the EVO.

don't get me wrong.. i have no problem buying cables and things online, been an eBay member since it was a mostly text website :) but when I get a chance to buy from Sprint I do since its easier to return.. and I took that chance with this HDMI cable, and impatience didn't help any... :)

oh noes...did you just compare EBAY to Amazon.com? :)

Although you can have good experiences on any website (and bad ones too) I would buy from Amazon.com 10x more than from EBAY.

There are a LOT of scams on EBAY and what you see is not always what you get.

    YMMV though.

Only had that problem once, when I bought a bluetooth GPS from someone back in my Treo 600 days ... and it didn't state whether or not it was new on auction but had all the details as if it were.... when I got it, it was a Cingular Wireless return, which had a battery that lasted for about 30 seconds off charger.. other than that i've been good

as far as amazon, only bought maybe 3 things from there over my life

You can also use your USB cable to watch videos. I attached my phone to my PS3 using the USB cord that came with the phone and the videos played and looked great on my 100" projection screen. Nowadays, most products have a USB connection so I would give that a shot first.

Wow.. calm down... drink a beer.. masturbate.. something... you're a little too wound up

I don't remember saying that its 100% either way.. but again i'll repeat what I said.. if it breaks as in the post mentioned.. i can walk back into one of 5 sprint stores in my area and they'll swap it for me.. as I just did with my bodyglove case...

if I buy it online.. i either have to send it back, get a new one or buy a new one...

now if i said 100% of products from sprint are or are not broken, or 100% of sprint stores will take refunds without having to fight with them, please let me know, because I don't recall that...

I did hear about that at my Sprint store as well. He said the 25% discount would only apply if you buy two or more accessories. If you buy just one, it's full price.

$10.04 shipped. HDMI to HDMI type C Mini cable 1.3b, 6 FT / 2 M, Black / Gold why not buy 2 and still be cheaper than sprint? anyways, let him do whatever he wants with his money. it's his choice. to the op, people are just trying to help you save some money (just some are more d*ck about it than others).

That's a TYPE C Mini HD cable. The EVO needs a TYPE D MICRO HDMI.

I see no reason to calm down, I highlighted the portion of the quoted post to make a point not and asked a question then provided some evidence to dispute your claim. No reason to go crazy on me.
