How much does it take for it to charge? because in the instructions it says to wait until the notification light turns green, and it's taking forever! :p I just can't wait to use it.

If I remember correctly, mine takes just over 2 hours to charge.

It could take up to 12 hours for the first go-around, then three to four each time thereafter.

I'm not sure why it takes so long the first time. I really don't think it would hurt to use the phone after three or four hours of first-time charging, though. Lithiums are resilient as long as you don't deep-discharge them.

(They actually don't like to be overcharged, but the charging circuit protects against that, so don't worry about leaving it charged too long, either.)

If you want just play with it while its plugged in, the charger will still gain ground. Mine will normally charge from dead to full in 3 hours and change. Only took an hour or so from the partially charged state it came in to get a green light which I later figured out means 90%, not full charge.

I died and lived again! That's what happened. The battery was defected, and they didn't know what's wrong with it until recently. They got me a new battery, and it's charging. It's HOT.
By the way, how do I know if mine is the T-Mobile version or the AT&T version?
