So because I've spent so much at best buy on the rewards program, I was able to take advantage of the black friday sales yesterday, so I got a email confirmation today that my white SF (best buy exclusive) was shipped today and should be at my doorstep within 5 buisness days

But I thought they were 1$ this Friday? did you pay more?

no mine was free, they updated the ad also, changed it from 1$ to free, maybe they thought charging $1 was a stupid idea, who knows, but yeah, the rewards program is awesome, best buy is basicly my second home lol

I got to my local BB around 4 am.. line stretched about 3-4 blocks. We got a reserve ticket standing in line. Seems the SF's were not at the top of people's lists, as I got ticket #2 and was at the rear.

All toll $37 out the door for a pair of black fascinates and a case. Not bad.

"White" is not something I consider special or rare. Charging more
for a paint or something just doesn't make sense to me on this scale.
It's nothing tangible or will improve the functionality of the device.

...I could also be adverse to looking like I have a bar of white chocolate up
against my head too... got to be weary of zombies and 5 year olds.


Now if BB had been selling versions with 2.2 preloaded early, pre rooted,
and some kind of a la cart pick-your-tweaks that did everything out of the box... that'd be added value.

yeah us early adopters have been waiting a long time. Im to the point now where I dont even follow the chatter about potential release dates.

I have the white Fascinate...2weeks old...well one week on this one...had to exchange the first one week in...this one seems pretty flawless.

should be getting my fascinate this week, does anyone have recomendations on a case, when i was at the verizon store i was looking at the high gloss silicone case, and it caught my eye cause it had a really nice look to it, and i loved the color, is that a good case, or does anyone know of something better

2 piece case or the htc universal hip pouch aren't bad... have them both.

Out of all the cases I tried I like the tpu cases the most. Some people mark them as flexy skin or hard silicon. I have four of them, blue diamond, blue argyle, black, and smoke argyle. The Body Gloves are awesome cases. Loved my SF but it was too thin for my large hands until I put it in a Body Glove. Now its perfect (except for the GPS issues)

You're lucky. I ordered the white one too on Friday from Best Buy and didn't have to pay a cent. I got an email that night saying it was backordered and would ship in 1-2 weeks but Saturday morning received one saying it has been shipped. It's killing me waiting for it to come but should be here tomorrow or Wednesday!
