Gparted with VMplayer SHUTDOWN STATE issue....PLEASE HELP

HELLO THERE GUYS, SO I AM A TOTAL NOOB TO THE WORLD OF ROMS, HACKS BUT THIS PARTICUALR ONE HAS ME THWARTED, I RECENTLY ROOTED MY PHONE AND WANTED TO PARTIOTION MY SD CARD SO THAT I HAVE MORE INTENAL MEMORY, TO DO THAT I NEEDED TO DOWNLOAD THE VM PLAYER(WHICH I DID) AS WELL AS GPARTED LIVE 0.16.ISO (WHICH I ALSO DOWNLOADED) I FOLOOWED ALL THE STEPS SHOWN HERE BUT EVERY TIME I PRESS PLAY ON THE VM PLAYER TO START THE PARTIOTIONING PROCESS I GET AN ERROR MESSAGE SAYING

VMPlayer can really only "play" VMs that were already made by someone else who bought and used VMware to make a VM.

Try using Virtualbox. It does much the same thing as VMware, but its free, and you can make your own VMs to use with it.

+1 for VirtualBox. It takes what...20 minutes to setup for the first time? (Need to install the OS in a virtual drive.)

I use it religiously, and its awesome.
