Gparted with VMplayer SHUTDOWN STATE issue....PLEASE HELP

HELLO THERE GUYS, SO I AM A TOTAL NOOB TO THE WORLD OF ROMS, HACKS BUT THIS PARTICUALR ONE HAS ME THWARTED, I RECENTLY ROOTED MY PHONE AND WANTED TO PARTIOTION MY SD CARD SO THAT I HAVE MORE INTENAL MEMORY, TO DO THAT I NEEDED TO DOWNLOAD THE VM PLAYER(WHICH I DID) AS WELL AS GPARTED LIVE 0.16.ISO (WHICH I ALSO DOWNLOADED) I FOLOOWED ALL THE STEPS SHOWN HERE BUT EVERY TIME I PRESS PLAY ON THE VM PLAYER TO START THE PARTIOTIONING PROCESS I GET AN ERROR MESSAGE SAYING
"A fault has occurred causing a virtual CPU to enter the shutdown state. If this fault had occurred outside of a virtual machine, it would have caused the physical machine to restart. VMPlayer can really only "play" VMs that were already made by someone else who bought and used VMware to make a VM.

Try using Virtualbox. It does much the same thing as VMware, but its free, and you can make your own VMs to use with it.

+1 for VirtualBox. It takes what...20 minutes to setup for the first time? (Need to install the OS in a virtual drive.)

I use it religiously, and its awesome.

Cool. Is the setup compilcated? Is there a step by step guide?
