Hi guys, I am new here.

Got my Desire as a birthday gift a few days ago and was wondering about GPS software for the Android OS. My father has a HTC HD2 and is using iGo2009 for WM6 and it works great! Was wondering if you guys know about any iGo2009 version for Android? Where can I buy it?

    Thanks,

Or just use Google navigation which is free and already on your phone in the maps app :)

(depending on what country you are from)

I came for a vacation in Israel, so Google Maps does not work here properly, also the 3G is extremely expensive so I prefer using the built-in GPS antenna and a Third-party program. Thanks though :)

I personally use Co Pilot, which has been excellent so far and is completely up to date with all streets in my area. However I'd rather use the Google Maps Navigation if only it was available in my country.

So far I think the only viable (and imho the best) option for the Desire is the Motonav modification that works on our resolution. Google it, since the app is not "official" I am not supposed to provide a link.

But I am pretty sure that soon we will have a "real" iGo for our device.
