Help GPS Icon Flashing!!!

So I use google navigation a bit for roadtrips and what not. Recently been using the GPS tracker/map App, "Backpacker". I love and se them both quite a bit.
Today I went to go turn on my GPS and it would mot connect on either apps. The GPS "target looking" icon came up on the top notification bar, however it just sat there and blinked the whole time...even though my GPS standalone services was turned on.

What going on?!

Not a clue - yet. Install GPS Essentials (free at the Play store). See if it sees any satellites. How many? Is it using any of them for a fix?

Lots of guesses, the worst one being that the GPS radio broke.

That app showed 0 were visible and 0 being used :/
