I recently purchased the Galaxy i7500 with the hope that it will be able to do gps directions with pre-loaded maps. Now I have not installed any driving software on the phone yet, only test apps, GPSTest, and GoogleMaps to see if it will pick up a gps location. However I am having no luck, if the phone is connected to a network through WiFi it will eventually pick up a location (use networks for location is enabled). But as soon as I shut WiFi or loose connection it will no longer pick anything up. On the gps test I was outside and it showed that it had 3 satelites in view but none were being used by the phone which strikes me as odd.

Just wondering if anybody else has issues with the GPS on this phone.

    Some stats:
    Location: Canada
Phone: i7500 (NOT 7500L, its not the Bell phone, this one came from Australia)
FW: IK5 (recently updated to this hoping it will fix my issue)
Network: Wind Mobile (not sure if this has anything to do with it) No data plan right now so pure GPS receiver only.

    Thanks for any help.
