Hi, I know this has been covered a few times before, but just want to know if anyone is still having this problem.
I've got a HTC Desire HD and for the life of me, I cant get it to pick up its gps signal. I've tried using GPS status, but have had no positive results.
I've only managed to get google navigation to pick up gps signal a couple of times :(
Does anyone know what think the answer might be to my problem?
    Many thanks

Hey minimadj, do any of the fixes here work?

That really doesn't help us. What, exactly, have you done with GPS Status? Simply running the app won't fix anything. Have you used it to clear your aGPS data? This always resolves issues with my Droid not being able to obtain a GPS fix.

FYI the GPS apps don't pick up the signal. Your GPS receiver does. The GPS receiver obtains a GPS fix and determines your location. The app has no part in this process. The app takes the location data and provides all the other functionality (maps, voice prompts, tracking, POI's, etc).

Wow, just lightly squeezing the camera lens plate got me instant results that remained for as long as I used navigation.
