    How do I open the GPS program without having to enter an address? I just want the GPS on without having to enter a destination.

    I am talking about the GPS application and not Google Maps.

    thats a good question. the menu button doesnt do anything when you open the GPS.

    doesn't the car app on the Nexus One do this?

    open google maps... hit menu select "my location" and it will track you. you don't have to search for anything or select a destination

    The update yesterday to google maps now allows you to do this from the navigation app. i thought it was a cool new addition
