Have you tried toggling into Airplane Mode on and then off? I've never had a problem getting GPS lock in just a few seconds until recently and found threads that mentioned toggling into Airplane Mode and then back out. I've done that 2 or 3 times in the past couple of weeks and after doing it, I've been able to get a GPS lock.

I did have the same problem one time and I pulled the battery and rebooted. Everything was fine after that

Hi, I have the exact same problem. No amount of toggling airplane mode or battery pulls will fix the issue. Does anyone else have some other suggestions?

From the Android Market, install Mike Lockwood's GPSTEST.

Then go to some spot with lots of open sky and start the test. See if you can detect any satellites. If you can't, remove the battery cover from your phone and try again. Are you able to pickup any satellites with the cover off?
