Is it possible to use my Captivate GPS to send the GPS data to my PC instead of using a dedicated GPS unit like a TOMTOM or Garmin?

I have trolled the internet but I cant find anything on this topic.

The top result has an answer that explains the possibility of tethering GPS data to a PC. I guess the determining factor would be what you would want to use that GPS data for and if the means of tethering are some how compatible with your main reason for wanting to tether GPS data. There are discussions for this type of thing across the internet, but it seems to be a pretty limited amount of people interested...

There is an app called ShareGPS BETA on the market that will do what I think you want. Plus it is free; if it works, please let us know
