Some of us have had issues with the volume and power buttons being depressed by the case just fitting a bit too tight causing unwanted changes in volume or turning the phone off by accident. Some have simply cut out the button areas completely but I have found a better answer. Simply make two slits one above the case molded buttons and one below. This allows for the phones buttons to slightly push away the case molded buttons for a perfect fit. See pictures below. The case buttons still work fine.

Can't really tell what's going on. Pictures are out of focus, but thanks for the instructions.

I've also not had a problem with mine, however, i have installed the "No Lock" program which disabled the lock screens and awakens the phone with the press of the volume keys and optical joystick. I sometimes find that the volume rocker is a little too easy to activate the phone, so this may help desensitize it a bit.

The volume buttons were much more sensitive w/o the case also, so this should help even more.

I hope that if/when they update the program they allow for the disabling of the volume keys, then it'll be all set.

    THanks again.

Why not just cut the entire piece out? Wouldn't that be easier? (From what I can tell in your pics, you essentially made a border without completely disconnecting that piece from the case)
