I have iPhone 3 and Samsung Tab 2.7 - only the had tab a few months and last night it turned itself off - with half full battery - and would not turn on again! I panicked and had visions of having to send away for repair and it has so much of my stuff on it. Did search with phone and found this forum. Others had same problem - and someone (beard?) said to hold power button down and touch screen at same time - and did this this morning, like magic it worked! Wanted to say thanks - but can't find thread, have joined as a - now - android owner - will no doubt find it useful in future. Now downloaded app! Thanks for this forum 😊.
