Help Green LED flashing light when fully charged

Hi All,

Have found similar threads but nothing that answers my question specifically.

I just changed to a Samsung Galaxy S3 and when my phone is fully charged (in the middle of the night) it has a blinking LED green light. This has woken me up for the past 3 evenings.

Can someone, anyone, please tell me how to turn this off!!

I tried that, it doesnt hide it! Any genuine solutions!?

I don't think there is a way. Supposedly, the GB update will have the dormant mode so you can set a specific time during which LED will be turned off. As of now, you have to do it manually, go to Settings, LED indicator and remove the selection for "Charging".

Thank you but that option is unchecked which is why im so confused. Also, I just noticed that the phone started lighting up when I receive a text message. Previously, the LED light was flashing (which is fine) but the screen wasnt lighting up. Any ideas what may have changed?!
