I dropped my brand new HTC One S in the toilet when flushing (yep) but was able to quickly get it out. Dried it off and put it in a bag of rice for 36 hours.
It still works, except the screen is green every time I turn the phone on or wake it. It stays green for about 5 to 10 seconds and then the color slowly turns back to normal.
Is there something I can do about this? What exactly could be causing this that I could replace? The entire screen? Or maybe just a connector?
Would placing it back in the rice for a longer period of time help?
Are the water indicators in the One S that I can check to see whether they changed color, before sending it to HTC for repair?
