As a past firmware flasher and user of Odin etc, I was excited for the official 4.1.2 update.
My partners un-rooted 02 gs3 was updated over the air. Several things have bugged her since:
I eventually managed to find page buddy to reactivate the drop down ear phone app options..
BUT
The biggest pain is the changes to the gallery: the note II style gallery features are fine aesthetically, but functionality wise: replacing the last used 'share via' app option. (Often a watsapp shortcut) with a 'star' favourites option is poor form.
Plus the fact that 'share via' now produces a 'pop up' rather than a drop down list...
Do I have any other options other than to flash a previous
(she knows I've a history of bricking her old Samsung bada. Ha.)
Or anyone know of any other suggestions..
I've downloaded another gallery app, quickpic in the meantime, where the popular 'share via' apps go to the top of a list, but she says its laggy and far from ideal.
