Myself and others are a group of software developers who are looking to create a pile of free and paid apps for the android marketplace.
So we looked into how to go about doing this and was told that it had to go through googlecheckout which currently is only open to the USA and UK ( when you go to create account it only lists these in drop down )
Yet when i go to android site

It says clearly here that Canada is one of the places developers may register as google checkout merchants?
At the bottom it then says we would get paid through a adsense account ( we have one of these )

It says we have to link up the googlecheckout account with the adsense one. Well big problem being as googlecheckout wont let canadians open a googlecheckout account
Are we missing the boat here or something? or have they misprinted on their website?
