My N3 has really been acting very weird all morning..
First I kept getting an error message the Play Store was not working when I tried to update 3 apps..
So I shut down phone and turned it back on and the got a notification that group play was uploading something to somewhere.. Canceled it immediately..
I have never even really noticed having this app on my phone..
This was not one of the 3 apps that needed updating..
Also what is Pen Up?? Never noticed it either.. It was one that wanted to be updated.. I didn't update it..
What is Group Play and why would it start uploading on it's own??
I did go in and turned off Group Play after it going Rogue...
    My phone is an AT&T..
Thanks for any info on this..

If you run Group Play you'll get an agreement you can cancel out of, but it tells you what the app is for. It comes with the phone.

Pen Up is an art-sharing app. (It also comes with the phone.)

These are examples of what's called "bloat". It's why people root phones - to get rid of this stuff.

    Thanks...
The weird part was when it just started uploading, the best I could tell..
I had never seen the app before and never was asked to opt in or out..
    Thanks for your reply..

Yep. They are Samsung apps. I just went into settings when I got the phone and turned them all off. I'm not that artistic and really not going to share my scribbles.
