I just ordered one of these for $10 shipping included. I don't usually use cases, but I figured what the hell for 10 bucks. the color looks like it will go well with the pebble blue.

ive been doing some searching on the Skinit Cargo case and getting a custom skin on it, but I haven't been able to find out if it comes with a holster clip. the website doesnt offer much as far as information on the specific cases that they offer. Has anyone here seen their cases and or their quality?? also, does anyone know if if the cargo, or even the LeNu case comes with a holster clip as well? or if either fit an existing holster clip from maybe another company?

cant pull the trigger on the case because of the unknowns.. lol, hoping someone here has some kind of experience with their cases/skins.

the website is Skinit.com , some interesting stuff.

any and all info is appreciated.

For anyone out there with a Defender that has the outer silicon loosening up/stretched, I just want to say:

    BOILING WORKS!

Very Interesting. I may try that on my old outer case after I get my new one.

That's what I did, I tested it on the old case first before trying it with my warranty replacement. Below are pics of the original case. The first is the pic I sent to Otterbox for the warranty, and the 2nd pic is post-boiling. You can see the bottom section is no longer "flapping in the wind". Comparably, I boiled the warranty replacement before it could get that bad out of shape, and the results were perfect. It fits nice and snug like it was fresh out of the package. So I think the key is not letting it get too loose. Also, I noticed with the newer case that sometime throughout the first day after boiling it tightened up even more vs. initially when I installed it back on the case, which was about 20 min. post-boiling to let it cool. I'll note too that both cases on the back the silicon was no longer making full contact with the plastic layer, kind of like it was bubbled. With both cases the silicon is now flat against the plastic layer post-boil.

Heh, I admit it's kind of silly that I have to do this, but being that I already have the case I'd much rather do this than spend money on another case. And besides, I love the built-in screen cover so it was worth the 15 min., which I'm guessing I'll probably have to repeat every couple of months. :D

Got my Rock Quicksand case in the mail yesterday, and I really like it. Looks nice, has a really cool, unique texture, well made, and shows no fingerprints whatsoever. Recommend it for people looking for a minimal (and minimal protection, obviously) case.

What are thoughts on the Lloyd flex case at shopandroid that was just announced?

The black one looks sweet IMO, but I would rather have the bright green so my phone is easier to find, or the clear so I can still see the sweet blue color of my GS3. Are these way overpriced? Anyone have different picture views of them?

I bought the case for the "metallic" look only to use at work (i dont like those bulky cases).....i am extremely careful with my phones, but in case of a drop who knows what would happen.....that's why i have insurance :)

I don't think $15 is overpriced, but I'm not a big fan of those types of cases personally. Here's a link if anybody wants to take a look.

I like the case myself but feel it is a bit overpriced. I think $9.95 would be more reasonable. If it was free shipping, then I can see the $14.95 price. And there is no way I would pay the list price of $19.95 for it.

How long did you boil the case?

I now have my replacement. It fits almost perfectly. I will update this thread if it stretches like the original.

I boiled my original case twice in an hour, about 10 min. each., and let it cool about 20 min. each time. I also stuck it in the freezer the first time right after boiling, but that was just a test I don't think it's necessary, was just trying things out. A good 5-10 min boil and cooling time should be sufficient, and also keep the case submerged with a cooking utensil as it boils. I don't think I needed to boil the first case a 2nd time, I think I just needed to give it more time to reshape itself. The important thing being that it will reshape itself over time, both of my cases did that. The second case I boiled once, same amount of time and cooling period.

I thought about ordering one of those in black. It seems like the same thing as the Seidio Surface case, but way cheaper, and for some reason. I like how the split is closer to the bottom instead of right in the middle on the Seidio. Do all of the cutouts match precisely? I can't stand when they're sloppy.

I have so many cases at home. Most are brand new still. I put one on and take it right off knowing its not what im looking for. Finally picked up a DBA thin grip and love it.

They look pretty nice, but I don't like the way the button cutouts go all the way through to the front. That would bug me having those gaps around the front bezel. Probably made that way so they could add more protection to the top and bottom edges and corners, but I don't like the look.
