I bought this yesterday, and it's probably the best Android shooter game I've played.
I love the auto-aim thing over "dual stick" (Gun Bros). And no, auto-aim doesn't make the game too easy - you still have to dodge enemy bullets.

Great graphics, GREAT CONTROLS, funny characters, nice touch of humour - splendid game.

How do I find my friend to play multiplayers? We're both on the same wifi network. Any help would be appreciated. :)

I'm trying to sort that too, but as yet not been able to sort multiplayer out!

I asked the developer about having the option for dual stick and they say it's coming by the end of the month. Looking forward to being able to choose who I shoot. Either way I played right through single player campaign, amazing game.

Anyone got it working on a stock HTC Desire yet? I'm always a little hesitant to jump in on the purchase of a game I can't test for compatibility with a lite version first.

Also, if any of you fine chaps sporting 2.2 can tell me how much space it takes up in phone memory, I would be very much obliged.

I like this game WAY more than Gun Bros. Gun Bros has better graphics and more weapons but it just feels empty. Guerrilla Bob is plain fun to play. My only beef is the lack of manual aiming. There are a couple spots in the game where the auto-aim gets you into trouble.

All in all, this is a really fun game. Works fine on the EVO.

Yes, we're both connected to the same wifi connection. Join Game brings up SEARCHING FOR SERVERS... and a MANUAL CONNECT button which displays server ip adress when pressed. Loading a game brings me to the level select menu where it says WAITING FOR CLIENT and a server info button which displays ip adress when pressed. What am I missing?

Just figured out the first half of my little conundrum: several reviews on the marketplace state that this game works perfectly on the Desire.

The second thing still remains a mystery though...

Can anyone have a quick peek and see how much phone memory the game takes up once installed to SD?

    Thanks in advance!

It uses 792KB of the phone's storage when installed to SD card.

it's a gorgeous gem of a game. I don't think It's worth the 2.99 I paid for it, maybe a 1.99 but until Android market offers more games, we'll have to take what we can get :)

Agreed. Adventure mode could be a bit longer, and I'd like more weapons and upgrades, but compared to the sheer volume of crapware in the Market, this is probably as good as it gets for now. It really is a fun little game as is though!

Wee bit short indeed. I haven't played easy though, just started on hard and went with that - always increases a games longevity a little (...and now I'm rocking #1 in the Arcade Hard leaderboards!).

i hope dual stick and manual targetting can come as an option (so you can choose not to use it), when it is already available, because for N1 and Desire this is an issue (for Gunbros)

On the earlier betavideos on their channel you can see the game already being played with the dual stick setup. Looks like the adjusted the shooting part later on.

I heard that you need Android 2.2
I currently have the Samsung Epic 4G running 2.1update1
Is this true that you need 2.2?

Yeah, no reason to not have 2.2 on your Epic at this point.

    Hey guys!
My name's Bogdan and I'm one of the devs behind Guerrilla Bob.
First of all, I'd like to thank you for your support... we had no idea Guerrilla Bob would be so well appreciated throughout the Android community.

We also plan to do a few fixes. We'll definitely add the dual-stick support, as an option (so you could turn auto aiming on and off)
I know the Nexus One doesn't support proper multitouch.. you guys mentioned the Desire may also have similar problems. Do you know of any other phones like that?

We're pretty new to the Android scene... and we're also trying to figure out some other support issues. Some users said they've been getting an 'error 18' when installing the game. I saw that also appears on other apps... If there are any devs around, could you give us some tips on how to work around that?
Is it some download buffer limits on certain phones/OS versions?

Oh, and about connecting 2 devices in a multiplayer game, just have the server ready in the level select menu, and then press join on the client device. If you have some weird WiFi setup, and can't find the server automatically, do this:
-on the server, press the 'server info' button, which shows you its IP
-on the client, select join, and then press the manual connect button. Enter the IP from the server, and press connect.
Just make 100% sure you're both on the same network.
