You have to extract the zip file there should not be a zip file in the folder.

i followed all the steps very closely, then got to where i was "finished" and could reboot, except it just hangs at the Motorola logo. I read a post by someone else in here where it suggested downloading the complete stock rom from "Bone Stock & Stock Deodex Rom's" post because it could have been a bad download of the original rom. so i downloaded that one, put the cwm recovery back in, re flashed the new download, and then put the old recovery back and it still hangs at the motorola screen... any suggestions?

If you can still boot into recovery then I would suggest using MTDEV-UNROOT.

When I go to backup and restore, it gives me the options "backup", "restore", and "advanced restore". Anytime I goto restore or advanced restore, I just get message "No files found". I have CW recovery 5.5.0.4
