ROOTING GUIDE BY DARIO

Please follow it carefully to avoid unnecessary bootlops/bricks, I strongly recommend you to MAKE A FULL NANDROID BACKUP before modifying your device's software.

UNLOCK YOUR BOOTLOADER

Unlocking your bootloader doesn't void your warranty untill you modify your device's software

A bootloader unlock will factory reset your phone

1. Go to this site
http://www.emui.com/en/plugin/hwdownload/download

2.Go to 'unlock bootloader' and log in with your credentials

3.After you've successfully gathered your bootloader unlock code go to developer options in your phone and enable OEM-Unlock and USB Debugging

4.Connect your phone to a PC and install drivers via HiSuite

5.Download and run 15 Second ADB, Fastboot installer, follow the instructions in the thread. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979

6.After that open a 'Command prompt' and type (while your phone is connected via USB cable):
adb devices
- Check weather your phone is connected,

adb reboot bootloader
- Presuming you were booted in Android, this will reboot your phone to the fastboot mode,

fastboot oem unlock [UNLOCK CODE]
-This will unlock your phone's bootloader

7.There will be a prompt on your phone to confirm the bootloader unlock process and factory reset.
Read the prompt and if you're sure you want to unlock it navigate to 'Yes'and press the power button

8.Your phone will factory reset now and unlock the bootloader.

I recommend flashing Magisk since it works really good, and also hides root which in turn makes your phone pass SafetyNet

1.Download latest Magisk

http://tiny.cc/latestmagisk

2.Enter recovery mode
Via ADB: `adb reboot recovery'
By pressing and holding Vol+ & Power

3.When in TWRP go to:

4.Locate your Magisk.zip

5.Press on the Magisk.zip file and pull the slider
