Help Gun Bros crashes after downloading data?

I've tried numerous times to get Gun Bros installed on the gnex. Each time it installs fine, and then it goes to download it's 200MB of data.

At the end of the download the app crashes, and will also crash when trying to run the program again.

I've uninstalled and re-installed multiple times, selecting SD card storage and internal, with and without 2-D acceleration, and I get the same crash every time.

My gnex is stock, rooted and unlocked. Seems like others have gun bros running on the gnex, am I missing something simple to get this installed correctly?

Surely you have already sent the developer an email.

Their website explicitly states no support for rooted phones, but it sounds like others with rooted gnex's have it working from what I can tell. Just wondering if folks had to do anything special to get it working.
