Hey guys, I downloaded and flashed a zip that partially fixed the video recording. I am using noobifieds's build and am using an old stylo. The zip replaces the cm camera app and I can only recording using the new app. The zip can be downloaded here: http://d-h.st/ljBa .

Is there a way to use this as a step to get a solid fix for the cm can?

I used before but there was some lag

CM cam is functional in the newest build, only thing that doesn't work is video and that's easily added when compiling.

That zip fixed recording specificly. But it had lag. You mean video is fixed when compiling?

Oh I didn't know it fixed video recording, what I meant was when compiling a new build you have to add something to fix nv12 color formatting and fix video recording

I downloaded that app, and video recording works. ... App crashed after I pressed stop but it saved the video and played normally when reopend

Wait, so, I followed a fellow XDA member's reply in which he found a quick fix for the black screen issue on Brady's latest CM12.1 build by replacing the boot.img with Noob's 7/12 build boot.img? It worked, but is there any negative effects in doing so?

DT2W seems to be very difficult to port for our CM, I think that there will have to be a custom CAF kernel made for that to happen.
As for the LG cam, I think you can.

This will allow you to double tap to sleep not wake. doubel tap to wake needs a kernel to achieve.

It was Mr. Obvious actually, or some name similar along those lines. You can also download the 7/12 build and 12/29 build, extract both of them via ES File, copy the 7/12 boot.IMG to the 12/29, then select every folder in the 12/29 folder which has the 7/12 boot.IMG, then compress.

Fixing screen-off issues on the old Stylo, though, antihack's method is much, much faster.

I thought it was in the settings of CM... Not need it on the kernel... By dev mode.

Not really an issue with the ROM. Are you flashing the correct zip?
