It majorly slowed my phone. I experienced big lags and frozen screens. i am back to the original browser. Just wanted to post in case the lag some are experiencing is the browser and not the phone. I have pretty bad reception at my house so that may be part of it. But on the original browser I still get lightening fast speed.

I have been using skyfire for the past day and I am pretty impressed although the stock browser is fine for me, I just wanted to try something new. Honestly the only thing I don't like about the stock browser on the Vibrant is that there is no auto-brightness setting. For the life of me I can't understand why someone would want different brightness for the browser then the rest of the phone. All this feature does is cause me to be blinded every morning when I go to use my phones browser and the brightness jumps from 0% to 50%

I love the pinch to zoom in Dolphin, and the way this browser looks on my phone, but it is SLOW. I wish Opera would hurry up with PTZ feature.

Tried Skyfire. It didn't work for me, either. My apps started force closing and my phone started freezing up.

I've tried a couple of other browsers on this phone and have not found one yet that doesn't slow down the phone or cause other problems. I've been playing with opera for about 30 minutes so far and it has performed well. I will post an update if I start experiencing lag like I did with the others. I thought this may be helpful for other noobs like myself.

Opera browser is the fastest one on Android current but does have loading issues. Like some stuff won't load.

I tried Opera. Doesnt always let me pinch to zoom. I like Dolphin HD better.

Anybody know when Fennec will be coming out(Browser made by Monzilla)

On the Vibrant you can pinch but it don't work well half th time. Always works on Dolphin HD.

i actually just prefer the default browser... opera makes some websites look really weird. Dolphin acts really weird on the vibrant too.

I am using it right now and I love that it is fast but the page is too big for the phone and I can't shrink it either. It zoomed for me once using pinch.

    EDIT
Is extremely buggy and just let me pinch to zoom in and out but it is inconsistant and not user friendly, which really is a bummer because it is fast.

  15. The alpha is already out and I posted the link in the OTHER browser thread which as soon as I find will be merged with this one... Please keep topics to 1 thread instead of 5 makes my life hell trying to find and merge these things...

Isnt it weird? I have a Vibrant and Dolphin works fine for me. It isnt as fast as Opera but Opera is buggy for me and i wish it wasnt because of its speed.
